Blue Jay

Never thought I would find myself doubting anything
Flying through the rain anymore
But here I am wondering what I'm singing for
Under the city lights to the window pane
I'm passing through another day
Dodging the fences let come whatever may
Cause all I see is fading fast
And all I loved seems to be in the past

Freedom to find my own way
No matter what they say
Finally I see it now, a better yesterday
And I will forever hold on
To hoping the day will come
That everything I've lost in love was
never really gone

I woke up to the Blue Jay flying in the sky
I wonder why I cannot be
Up where their boundaries couldn't capture me
I think someday we all will see
I think one day we'll find who we're meant to be

Somewhere beneath our heartbreak
There must be a wish to make
To see beyond the clouded sky if only for their sake
Beauty is all around us
Right underneath the rust
So let the rainfall wash away the layers of mistrust

Freedom to find my own way
No matter what they say
Finally I see it now, a better yesterday
And I will forever hold on
To hoping the day will come
That everything I've lost in love was
never really gone

Somewhere beneath our heartbreak
There must be a wish to make
To see beyond the clouded sky if only for their sake
Beauty is all around us
Right underneath the rust
So let the rainfall wash away the layers of mistrust
